2013: Chi Reflections

RedYinYangSmallWell, it’s been a very busy year and this blog post is larger than usual, as I wrap up the year to fill you in on what’s been happening in my personal training and professional job as a Tai Chi teacher.

Personal Chi
This year I’ve managed to keep consistently to my training schedule of 90 minutes (3×30 minute sessions) during weekdays and 60 minutes on Saturdays.

The 30 minute sessions throughout the day have kept my knees happy, as they no longer play up as they did when I was practicing much longer sessions in the past.

Chair Chi: Always Energised

chair-chi-training-picI deliver a lot of Chair Chi sessions for both low care and high care residents in various aged care centres and nursing homes – sometimes as many as 9 sessions in a week.

And I do get tired at times running around to different locations and producing the energy required to make a session enjoyable and productive.
