April: Push Hands in the Park

April already and another Push Hands session coming up.

Details

  • Sunday – April 27
  • 10.00 am – 12 noon
  • Fawkner Park – South Yarra (Armadale Road entrance), Melbourne, Australia
  • Friendly, non-competitive push hands (tui shou) practice and play for anyone – old, young, beginners, masters
  • Team up with someone and discuss what you’d like to do – and what you’d not like to do!
  • Ten minute exchanges timed by a bell – but you can rest as well!
  • Learn, share and enjoy.

All welcomed.

2014: Chi Up and Running

It’s been a very busy start to the year and this is my first chance to write a post. From here on in I’ll start writing on a regular basis.

Well, I’m booked out for the year for Chair Chi workshops for aged care centres which is great as I really enjoy working with the elderly.

2013: Chi Reflections

RedYinYangSmallWell, it’s been a very busy year and this blog post is larger than usual, as I wrap up the year to fill you in on what’s been happening in my personal training and professional job as a Tai Chi teacher.

Personal Chi
This year I’ve managed to keep consistently to my training schedule of 90 minutes (3×30 minute sessions) during weekdays and 60 minutes on Saturdays.

The 30 minute sessions throughout the day have kept my knees happy, as they no longer play up as they did when I was practicing much longer sessions in the past.
