Chair Chi: 7 Workshops in 4 Days

It’s been a very busy week running 7 chair chi sessions in 4 days for various aged care centres here in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

It can be tiring running around to different locations and putting the energy into delivering workshops plus the other work I do with Sue James in our shared business BJ Seminars International but every time I finish a session I feel uplifted and most of the tiredness vanishes.

Good Chi Park

Tai Chi at Forest Edge Camp

I recently ran two VCE: Success and Resilience workshops for Westall Secondary College  students at their school camp in Neerim East.

The camp is called Forest Edge and it’s about one and half hour drive from my place; through the back hills with long winding roads and lovely bush scenery. It rained all the way there but it was a very relaxing drive though on the way back my fuel tank empty sign flashed and I was a long way from a service station but I managed to get to one just outside of Yarra Junction.

Sunday Push Hands

Another enjoyable Push Hands in the park session yesterday.

I left home at 9.00am and drove down the Hill and managed to ‘brush knee twist step’ my way around the cyclists who flood the area every Sunday morning. I arrived at Fawkner Park in town, where we meet, at about 9.55am for our 10.00am start.
