Ease Pain … the Chi Way is designed for those who suffer physical pain and would like to learn a natural way of easing pain. A variety of easy to learn Chi techniques are taught in this workshop.
Ready Steady … Better Balance for Seniors is an ideal and innovative way of reducing falls in seniors. The skills taught are drawn from Tai Chi and Chi Kung.
This workshop evolved from our Chair Chi Plus pilot study which was conducted at Craigcare Aged Care in 2016.
The purpose of the program was to improve overall wellbeing – physically, psychological, emotionally and socially. And it’s key aim was to increase leg strength, improve balance, achiece an aerobic/cardiovascular workout and enhance emotional and psychological wellbeing.
Volunteers who participated were aged care residents aged between 81-96, all with high care needs.
