We found that Chair Chi provides our residents with a chance of gentle exercise and relaxation which they look forward to on a regular basis.
We notice they appear more relaxed after the session, more socially active as they chat amongst each other.

I found the Chair Chi to be a worthwhile class. At first I wasn't sure what it would be like, Chris showed us good strengthing exercises. It was also a good form of relaxation. Thanks.

All levels were catered for –even the basic (us!) . Very clear instructions. All our unusual questions were answered. We felt very good afterwards and will continue to follow his 5 minute a day plan. Chris gave us a very good insight to Tai chi.

Thank you for your session with us. Very positive comments from all the staff. It was very relaxing - nice to do a shared PL together. The power of collegiate activities is amazing. Great to do something different for health and stress release. It was terrific and so many staff members said how they slept soundly that night.

The Chair Chi workshop was well received by all the staff who attended. I think the time went very quickly and the techniques you covered during the hour session were simple to remember and easily applied after the workshop. A few people have told me that they have used the techniques to address stress and to relax. The handout you gave to us was very useful in reminding us of the techniques you shared with us.Thank you for making the session so worthwhile for us. I have only had positive feedback.

Chair Chi is a great success at St. John’s Park Hostel, with at least 10 residents participating per session. Our residents continue to talk about the sessions happily afterwards. Our residents have said that they are keen for this activity to continue as part of St. John’s leisure program, as they say they are more relaxed following the session.

Chair Chi is something everybody can do. Chris is great with the residents, explaining the exercises and the benefits well. The great thing about Chair Chi is it is low impact (exercise) in a chair. It is great for all residents but even those that have mobility problems can participate actively. It has the biggest turnout out of all our exercise classes. They enjoy it and return.

Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. The residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed your delivery of Chair Chi and would love to have you back again.
Your attitude towards the residents was impressive and you interacted with them brilliantly, they responded and participated well and definitely benefited from you.
Once again thank you Chris and I will certainly recommend you to other facilities.

Thanks for your dynamic and entertaining Tai Chi energizer presentation you delivered at our recent international conference. Your unique 30-minute morning energizer session plus the shorter energizer segments held after lunch and late afternoon were ideally placed and revitalised our audience on the last day of the conference. We were also impressed with your efforts in welcoming our European and Asian guests in their own languages.

Very positive feedback from staff and students re your workshop. We have agreed as a staff to spend a period of time each day doing some of the exercises, activities you did with the children and staff. Encouraging staff to join in was excellent so they feel more confident to set something up in their own class. The little hand sign for making a smile is something I use myself and I see other staff using it as well and the breathing exercise to calm down has been used for playground disagreements so well done. Not just something we have done and then will forget about. Extremely happy with POZITIVE KIDZ.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the session and the feedback that was given to me was all very positive. They greatly appreciated your firm but gentle manner in presenting the introduction to Tai Chi lesson. Your demonstration was a great hit.

Thanks for your efforts yesterday – you did a great job covering all the year 10's in the one day, and the feedback from the kids has been very positive. The general feedback was that it was really enjoyable and they felt they got a lot out of it. At this age they have no qualms about being brutally honest, and I didn’t hear anyone make a negative comment. The class that I have for English suggested we do some Tai Chi at the start of each class, and many said how relaxed it made them feel.

Chris Bennett was booked to present his Tai Chi workshops as a part of our Year 10 “Future directions” camp this year. Chris’ engaging style ensured all students were focused and really got the full benefit of the program. Both students and staff were very positive in their feedback after each session. I was delighted with the success of the program and recommend Chris’ work most highly.

He (Chris) was awesome! – Some of the kids were still referring back to his ‘monkey brain’ exercises in the following days – If only our classrooms were that relaxed all the time! – The whole session was relaxing. Chris made excellent links between the three main feelings and then gave actions and movement to deal with those feelings – The children really enjoyed the experience.
