Just back from a four day holiday and it felt great to have time away from running workshops.
The week before the holiday began I ran 9 Chair Chi sessions for various aged care centre besides working on our BJ Seminars International business. It was so good to get away and relax.
During those four days I scaled down my normal personal training to just the 20 minute embrace the tree stance which I usually do first thing in the morning.
On the last day of my holiday I got slack, sat on the couch and that was it – no training.
But that little Tai Chi voice in my head was constantly saying, ‘do your stance work, do your stance work’.
All day I could hear it but I coudn’t find the time to stop and train. I was having a lazy attack and enjoying it.
When I finally got home the voice kept echoing in my head and just to shut it up I did the stance work at 9.30pm!
It was better late than never.
