Tai Chi Training: Some days …

Somedays I just don’t feel like doing my Tai Chi training.

I’ll wake up early in the morning on week days to do the first of three 30 minute sessions for the day and that little voice in my head sometimes says, ‘I”ll do it later’. But the morning sessions are important because that’s when I practice my Tai Chi standing posture – a vital training component of Tai Chi.

In the past ten weeks I’ve a achieved a perfect score and completed all my training sessions which I’m happy about because there was the odd occasion I didn’t feel like training.

Regardless of how I feel in the morning I know when I complete my standing practice it feels terrific for two reasons:

  • I feel energised
  • I feel great because I’ve accomplished what is a demanding training session

Today I felt good waking up and the little voice in my head was in a good mood and I completed my session without any difficulty.

But some days ….
