Private Lessons
After a break from teaching private Tai Chi lessons I’ve decided to make this service available again. The emphasis in these lessons are on health and wellbeing only.
Why consider private lessons? Well, here are five reasons why I feel it will benefit you.
1. Personal Attention
In a private lesson all the attention is on you so you will learn quickly, more effectively, as long as you practice regularly. In a normal Tai Chi class, of say 10-20 students, there just isn’t enough time for much individual attention.
2. Lesson To Suit Your Needs
A private lesson allows me to assess your current skill level and create a program suitable for you. This is not always possible in medium to large class sizes.
3. Flexible Time
I’m flexible with time so you have the option of day or evening lessons.
4. Convenience
To make it convenient for you I’m willing to travel to a location of your choice (work, home, other) provided it’s in the Hills area (the Dandenongs) and/or the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.
5. Professional & Experienced Teacher
You will get the benefit of my 23 years experience and knowledge as a student and as a professional Tai Chi teacher. Seven of those years (1994-2001) as creator and teacher of the Olinda Tai Chi Club.
I was taught and still practice the traditional Wu Style Tai Chi system which covers;
- The Hand Form
- Chi Kung
- Push Hands (single, double, Da Lu)
- Weapons (sabre, sword, staff, spear forms)
- Self Defence
6. Adaptability
The lessons can be adapted to include ‘chair chi’ exercises if you have problems standing for any length of time.
